Gravity Addiction ("we", "us") runs gravityaddiction.com, a directory of mountain bike parks, trail centres, bike shops, events and group rides. This notice explains what personal information we collect and how we use it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Account details you give us when you sign up: email address, name and optional profile photo.
- Content you post: marketplace listings, photos, messages, group rides and listing claims.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
- Reports you send about listings, including any contact details you include.
- Basic usage data such as pages visited and approximate location, to improve the site.
How we use it
- To run your account and show the content you choose to publish.
- To let buyers, sellers and riders contact each other through the site.
- To send the newsletter, only if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To check and correct listing information and keep the site safe.
Businesses listed on the site
Shop and venue listings use publicly available business information such as names, addresses, websites and business contact details. Owners can claim, correct or ask us to remove a listing at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery and maps, and they process data only on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
